GNFI was intensely waiting until the whole process of victim identification was completed with supporting evidence to release this good news. And as confirmed through a DNA test by the Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) of Republic of Indonesia Police Headquarter, reported on Kompas.com (Saturday, September 12, 2009), we feel convinced that the one of the victims killed in the movie-like counter-terrorism effort in Solo, Central Java, recently is indeed Noordin M Top, a Malaysian citizen most wanted terrorist.
We should feel proud and relieved again as this time Densus 88, Indonesian Police Anti-Terror Special Squad, has finally successfully stopped Noordin M Top terrorist activity and hopefully it broke his network.
While we may breath the fresh air of this victory, efforts in fighting terrorism doesn’t stop here. Densus 88 is still cracking down Noordin’s network in the aftermath.
We all congratulate Densus 88 for this honorable achievement, and wish you the best in destroying the entire terrorist network in Indonesia.
