Connecting Archipelago

Connecting Archipelago

This is only a soft reminder, that Trans-Java highway will be completed next year, some parts are already completed and functioning. This highway will connect Merak city in the westernmost part of Java Island, to the second biggest city in Indonesia, Surabaya, spanning almost 1,000 km.  This is part of Indonesia’s huge investment to create more competitiveness and efficiency.

Following soon, Indonesia will also start to develop a Trans-Sumatra, and Trans-Kalimantan. We are a bit late compared to China who already has 90,000 km of toll way. But, it is very much ok. Indonesia will spend $34 billion for the next several years for investment in infrastructure. Will update you more on this, in few days to come.
