Highest-Speed Train

Highest-Speed Train

Few weeks ago, GNFI posted about the first ever Hydrogen High-Speed Train. Well, I just figured out in Google, that the speed of it can surpass the speed of Japan’s bullet train Shinkansen, and European speed train AGV. The $3 billion project will commence sometimes in 2011, and the train will connect Jakarta-Bandung-Cirebon, which is also considered to be extended all the way to the east part of Java Island, with the elevated pad way span around 370 km.

It is going to be the first ever of its kind, on the whole earth.
This train will accommodate 250 passengers inside each unit.

Well i hope not, as the MOU has already been signed. Monorail was indeed a flap, and the project started even the money was still on searching. Now, it is different. Let’s hope we can start being really proud of Indonesia.

is there any particular reason why rather than adapted other well known, well tested solutions such as Shinkansen, AGV, etc
Indonesia chose something that still lives only on the drawing board ??

i do know the pride of being the 1st and the only (if that could’ve helped)
but in this matter, chosing the well tested & well known & well applied technology
    is better.

unless probably Indonesia’s Govt are willing to pouring in almost unlimited amounts of monies for debugging processes..
than i’ve been told over and over again, Indonesia’s budgeting is very limited. (pun intended)

As long as its railspan is elevated high enough from the slums and the material is rigid enough from thefts, then we can ensure we have our own dream of bullet-speed transport realized.
