The number of visitors Indonesian pavilion at World Expo in Shanghai, China, broke two million people. In fact, previously government only targeted three million people who would come to visit. “It’s beyond belief,” said Director of the Indonesian Pavilion Dipodiputro Widharma at Shanghai Kingdom, Sunday (20 / 6).

The World Expo is being held since May 1 last and will end October 31 next. This exhibition is the third largest events followed many countries, after the Olympics and World Cup.
Previously, Widharma only targeted three million visitors. However, seeing the interest of visitors, he targeted six million people will come to Indonesia until the end of the exhibition pavilion. Generally, visitors like the concept of an open pavilion of Indonesia. This makes them feel free and not have to queue for a look.
Indonesian pavilion is themed Biodiversity. The location of the pavilion is in Zone B adjacent to the pavilions of other countries, like Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia.
GNFI — I myself hope that Indonesian Pavillion will be one of the best-designed and most-visited pavillions at Shanghai Expo.

So, this is not the most-visited pavilion at the Expo? Do you guys know which the most-visited pavilions are?
Till when is the expo over?? I want to visit
is there one every year?
I think we need to differentiate between most-visited, and most-popular. The most popular ones are the UK, Russia, Saudi Arabia, they are generally the best-published pavillions in media. As for the most visited ones, i have no resource to tell me, however Indonesia factors 15% of total expo visitors to date. That’s big!

Mbak Ayu, how about the ‘most-visited pav’ thing?
I think this site will explain more to you guys about Indonesia Pavilion. http://www.indonesiaatworldexpo.com/
15% of the total visitors?? Man, that’s big. I never imagined the visitors would be that big. Btw, does the government advertise this in the media outside Indonesia? I’ve never seen such published information about Indonesia Pavilion here. I wonder how many visitors would visit our pavilion if it’s being advertised greatly nationwide like in Bali? or Lombok? Places where have many tourists in it. (Or maybe worldwide?)
i hope that Indonesia’s achievement is not only as the most visited pavilion, but also the amount of business deals that come after the show. Please remember, taking part in this huge event is not cheap, its gotta be worthed guys..
in ASEAN…indonesia is most-visited…because malaysia and thailand only got less than one million visitors…
