Gold Medals Become Our Daily Routine

Gold Medals Become Our Daily Routine

The contingent of Indonesian students grabbed 13 gold medals, 22 silver medals, and 38 bronze medals in the fifth International Mathematics Contest in Singapore on August 22-23, 2009. Indonesia successfully won 73 medals in the contest, and won the contest.

The contingent’s leader from Science Division said in the contest which tested the intelligence of students starting from the third grade at secondary high schools, Indonesia competed with seven countries including China, Hong Kong, India, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. The victory of Indonesia in the contest was a big achievement, even not too surprising.

Indonesia is undoubtedly one of the most successful countries in winning science championships. Need to build from there.
