Robot DU-114-V8 from the Computer University of Indonesia, Bandung, won a gold medal in the International Robo Games held in San Francisco, California.
DU-114-V8, which is made by Rudy Hartono, was the fastest robot to put out a fire in the competition. “For this (open fire fighting autonomous robot) category, 11 teams from various countries competed for the gold medal, and DU-114-V8 won it,” Andi Rahadian, the spokesman of the Indonesian Consulate in San Francisco, said.
The competition, which began from Friday to Sunday, was participated by 20 countries.
