Rare Bird in the Sky

Indonesia has just gotten even more accessible for travel to their tropical paradise. With the introduction of a premium subsidiary, Lion Air will try to go head-to-head with the national flag carrier, Garuda Indonesia. Batik Air is planning to get their birds in the sky by March of next year.

Usually, we see premium airlines creating low-cost offshoots, but this the exact opposite. Lion Air is the low-cost carrier while Batik will be the one with higher ticker prices and, to go with it, high levels of service. It’s to be based out of Jakarta, flying to South and East Asian destinations and Australia.

The new airline will start flying a fleet of Boeing 737s, but has placed an order for 5 Dreamliners to expand their reach. The unique livery will sport the traditional Indonesian fabric design called batik. Along with comfy seats and a more pleasurable flying experience, airline execs have said passengers will have access to inflight wifi. Woo-hoo!

Lion Air one more again surprising indeed! Seems this airlines never stop to break the glass till water flashing off.
I was just few months ago defining myself to be more stunning as ANA launched the new modern livery 787s and yet expecting its Jakarta-Narita sector served by kind of this aircraft. But here now Lion Air through its astonishing plan with its getting soon subsidiary Batik Air launch has made a bombshell.
There must be hectic sky over the archipelago and even being more competitive.

    Bravo Indonesia Aviation!
