Bali will host a workshop and contest for 250 young ASEAN entrepreneurs from Nov. 11 to 14.
By the end of the workshop, each participant is expected to have made a business plan that will be reviewed by major companies such as Research In Motion and Google, an official says.
According to kompas.com, deputy coordinating economic minister for trade and industry Edy Putra Irawadi said on Friday that that the participants would be divided into 25 groups.
Edy said that they should prepare strategic plans that could help ASEAN develop its economy.
“The proposals should be concrete,” he said.
Edy added that 175 of the participants would come from Indonesia.
