This week has been really lovely, and I might raise many eyebrows to tell you all that it’s because of the Farnborough International Airshow which is held 19-25 July in Hants, UK. Airshow, is actually where you find masterpieces of world masters in aviation industry, not only commercial aircrafts, but also military ones.

There, you can witness the Embraer, Brazil’s ultimate product and its national pride, or Bombardier, the Canadian aviation industries, US’s Boeing and European Airbus, or Russian mighty industry, the Sukhoi. I really like to see them competing each other to attract customers and audience, I like to see em promoting their cutting-edge designs and technology. I LIKE AVIATION INDUSTRY, I LIKE PLANES… enough said!

Well, I will write more about that in other entries (well, to be honest, I’ve posted many entries about aviation).

Airbus A330-200s

So far, the aircraft orders in the airshow has reached $25 billion , and airlines from Indonesia contributed 8% to that after Kartika airlines inked the purchase orders for 30 Sukhoi SSJ Superjet 100, and Garuda Indonesia secured 6 Airbus A330-200s.  Planes is scheduled to be delivered next year until 2014. Garuda is so serious in penetrating long-haul markets, as well as strengthening regional position.

Well, a good step to lead to world’s 5-star airline, just like Singapore Airlines. I hope it’s gonna be in 2014.
