I hate to say this, but I’ve been a long time waiting for these cars.
BUT WHEN?
The news are disappeared from Indonesia..
No more news…
Did they serious with this job?
Will they answer my suggestions?
I’m really waiting for these cars.
The existing automotive mafia are too strong. That’s why all mass rapid transit projects are failed in Indonesia.
yeah…
i agreed, i think that the transportation mafia just too strong in indonesia…
for an example, why the distribution of material still go on pantura roads, why they didn’t try to build ports so they can distribute material from north java sea?
it would help to reduce the capacity of cars there and of course the impact for government’s budget absolutely for God sake good.
for cars, i can’t comment it…
beside i didn’t know about cars but i hope it will drop to the market as fast as they can. i really waiting for this.
@paimin: automotive mafia???
Been hearing about our supposed “national car” for years!
Where are they now? When will this car go into production?
Hell! If any of these cars go into production, I’d buy one myself!
Doesn’t matter if I think the car looks ridiculous, I’d buy one just to show my support for indigenous Indonesian auto industry.
I’m sure there are other people who think alike…
sekilas memang desain eksterior-nya terlihat kurang cantik.
tapi setelah saya perhatikan dgn seksama, ternyata desain eksterior-nya SANGAT unik, berkarakter, dan terkesan ramah (baca: tidak angkuh).
jika proyek mobil nasional bisa serius dijalankan dg dukungan desainer & insinyur otomotif se-indonesia, saya yakin akan lahir karya yg hebat. bukankah kita punya banyak inovator2 otomotif yg hebat.
All,
i really like your comments, and i take em seriously. Please be advised that developing a national car is not merely creating ones, sells, and getting profit. There are many many things to consider in terms of sustainability measures. Int’l brands like ford, toyota, renault, took decades to build brand and to position their products, which required post-sale service, spare part networks, and of course, R&D. Yes, it’s about money, and commitment.
Proton Malaysia is a different story, it has long been enjoying full government’s support in funding, and networking, and still, it cannot make proton a ‘profitable’ profit- center for malaysian government, trough Khazanah Sdn Bhd. Instead, it’s now a cost-center where government has to top-up money all the time to keep it afloat.
Toyota wouldnt be this big and sustainable if it had not sold its car worldwide.
Indonesia is a free-market country, where government will not interfere market, trough subsidizing national car.
For Indonesia, it’s very easy to build a state-of-the-art car, but to compete with brands like toyota, honda, ford, hyundai, it takes decades. Sustainability matters, and Indonesia will not create a Khazanah-like body.
Well a decades, money, and commitment are what we need right?
This car can be our national car, we’ll just need to support it. Even though not that easy to do
but Im a positive thinker
this car acctually more cool than japanesse car…!! its like european car..love it!!
saya suka prototype ini, lucu, elegan, segar dan punya karakter sendiri. semoga cepat diproduksi dan jika harganya terjangka saya pasti akan membelinya karena ada kebanggaan sendiri memakai produk bangsa sendiri. semoga!
