The most expensive coffee in the world
Do you think it is Starbuck?
The most expensive coffee in the world does not hail from Jamaica or Hawaii, but instead from Indonesia.
Kopi Luwak, the most expensive coffee in the world does exist, and those who drink the expensive coffee insist that it is made from eaten coffee beans, partly digested and then excreted by the common palm civet, a weasel-like animal.
“Kopi” is the Indonesian word for coffee and “luwak” is the local name of this animal which eats the raw red coffee beans. The civet digests the soft outer part of the coffee cherry, but does not digest the inner beans and excretes them.
Apparently the internal digestion ends up adding a unique flavor to the beans, removing the bitter flavor. The excreted beans are then picked up by locals and sold. The most expensive coffee beans can cost up to $600 a pound, and up to $50 per cup. Yes you may have 12 cups of Starbuck’s double espresso at the same price.

Snift it’s aroma before you drink it…
And also enjoy the finish….
Don’t buy it if we can’t enjoy it…same as wine…don’t drink an expensive wine if we can’t enjoy it.

Didn’t favor Starbucks much. High-priced coffee with our own coffee
While many people argue that Starbucks is better because of its brand and ambiance in its cafe, for me those are mere marketing gimmicks. Nothing more.
Kopi Luwak is t3h best. Tried it once and loving it already
While some people feel ‘jijay bajay’ with the making process of the coffee, what the hell lah. Lha padi aja ditanem pake pupuk. Pupuk ada pupus kandang toh? Heuhehe.

I’m a fan of this fantastic coffee.
Vietnam is one of the biggest coffee producer, if you don’t know.
We call it “Legendary Coffee” or “Caphe Chon” in our language.
This coffee is not made for addicted coffee drinker. It’s a pleasure. It’s to enjoy and relax. It’s to appreciate the coffee farmers that hand pick one by one coffee bean for us.
