Great to see the international success of a number of Indonesian comics artists! I’ll have to look up Cristiawan’s work as I’m not familiar with his name but the images look great!

However, I am familiar with Ardian Syaf’s awesome work on the Dresden Files graphic novels and now with DC comics on Blackest Night: Batman, Superman/Batman, JLA, Green Lantern Corps and Brightest Days. Very impressive indeed

There are many others Indonesian artists that work in American comic book industry. Radical Comics-a new publisher just employed Admira Wijaya for their ‘Hercules’ title. DC Comics-the 2nd largest publisher and the home to the likes of Superman, Batmana, etc also employed Ardian Syaf for their Green Lantern Corps, just to name a few.

So he is another Indonesian from Bandung who’s made it in the US? A young woman from Bandung, Tania Gunadi, has also made it in the US. She has starred in different series / flicks.
